At Mukul Madhav Foundation, we have taken upon ourselves the noble mission of advocating for those who lack representation and a voice to express their needs. Our dedication doesn't stop at humans; we extend our support to animals as well.

Our journey began when we responded to a plea for funds from the esteemed animal welfare NGO, People for Animals. Today, our proactive involvement is shaping a more compassionate world where animals are treated with utmost dignity and empathy. We strive to provide them with secure environments where their well-being is prioritized, ensuring they are well-fed and content.

When a call for help reaches us, swift action is our motto. Whether it's repairing a cowshed devastated by torrential rains or aiding street dogs enduring harsh cold waves, we are committed to minimizing their trauma. Our response time is remarkable – often within mere hours, and sometimes even within six hours. Through our comprehensive interventions, we focus on disease prevention, veterinary care, suitable shelter, effective management, proper nutrition, and humane treatment.

But our impact doesn't end there. We believe in fostering a more compassionate bond between humans and the animals they depend on for livelihood. This philosophy echoes through our vocational training initiatives, such as beekeeping, goat and sheep rearing. Our benefactors not only gain livelihood skills but also acquire essential knowledge about the well-being and nutrition of their valuable animals.

Furthermore, our dedication to animal welfare extends to preserving the habitats of wild creatures, both on land and in water. Our efforts encompass diverse projects, including tree plantations, river and beach cleanups, the Swachh Ganga Kosh initiative, water conservation, and environmental protection.

Medical science has progressed by leaps and bounds over the last few decades, and so has life expectancy. But this progress has not been universal. In parts of the world and India, there are vulnerable individuals and communities who have been left far behind by these new advances. Their income or geography, mostly both, restrict their access to even basic healthcare. There are people who dread disease and illness, not because it is incurable or terminal, but due to the burden it will put on their finances. Even if they are cured, the illness will leave their lives devastated. Tough choices are usually made in families – either they rely on affordable local remedies to be cured and maybe live through the illness. Or get a new lease on life through expensive cures, and henceforth have a poor quality of life for the entire family.
